Method:  this is a scoping review based on the principles recommended by the JBI and the PRISMA guidelines for data extraction, conducted using ten databases and gray literature. The PCC strategy was used for data collection. Studies were selected after duplicates were removed and individual and paired assessments were conducted. Descriptive analysis and diagrams were used to present the results.  Results: an analysis of the 18 selected articles showed three self-care behaviors: glycemic management, insulin bolus, and carbohydrate counting. The factors influencing these behaviors were Knowledge, Freedom/flexibility, Sensor use, Context, and Responsibility.  Conclusion:  the studies indicate that in-depth knowledge of self-care enables professionals to make better decisions about individualized treatment plans and enables people using the Continuous Insulin Infusion System to seek actions and information related to daily care for proper diabetes management. There is a need for future intervention studies to optimize self-care in this population.</jats:p></jats:abstract><jats:abstract xml:lang="pt"><jats:p> Objetivo: mapear as evidências disponíveis na literatura sobre o autocuidado de pessoas com Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 1 em uso do Sistema de Infusão Contínua de Insulina.  Método: trata-se de uma revisão de escopo baseada nos princípios preconizados pelo JBI e nas diretrizes do PRISMA para a extração dos dados, realizada em dez bases de dados e da literatura cinzenta. Utilizou-se a estratégia PCC para a coleta de dados. A seleção dos estudos foi realizada após a remoção de duplicatas, avaliação individual e em pares. Para apresentação dos resultados, utilizou-se análise descritiva e diagrama.  Resultados: uma análise dos 18 artigos selecionados mostrou que existem três comportamentos de autocuidado: manejo glicêmico, bolus de insulina e contagem de carboidratos. Os fatores que influenciam esses comportamentos foram o Conhecimento, Liberdade/flexibilidade, Uso do sensor, Contexto e Responsabilidade.  Conclusão:  os estudos evidenciam que um conhecimento aprofundado sobre o autocuidado permite aos profissionais tomar melhores decisões quanto ao plano terapêutico individualizado; e as pessoas em uso do Sistema de Infusão Contínua de Insulina, buscar ações e informações em relação aos cuidados diários, para o adequado manejo do diabetes. Destaca-se a necessidade de estudos futuros de intervenção que otimizem o autocuidado nessa população.</jats:p></jats:abstract><jats:abstract xml:lang="es"><jats:p> Objetivo: mapear las evidencias disponibles en la literatura sobre el autocuidado de personas con Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 1 que utilizan el Sistema de Infusión Continua de Insulina.  Método: se trata de una revisión de alcance basada en los principios recomendados por el JBI y en las directrices PRISMA para la extracción de datos, realizada a partir de diez bases de datos y da literatura gris. Se utilizó la estrategia PCC para la recopilación de datos. La selección de los estudios se realizó tras la eliminación de duplicados, la evaluación individual y por pares. Se utilizaron análisis descriptivos y diagramas para presentar los resultados.  Resultados: un análisis de los 18 artículos seleccionados mostró que existen tres comportamientos de autocuidado: manejo glucémico, bolo de insulina y recuento de carbohidratos. Los factores que influyen en estos comportamientos fueron el conocimiento, la libertad/flexibilidad, el uso del sensor, el contexto y la responsabilidad.  Conclusión:  los estudios demuestran que un conocimiento profundo sobre el autocuidado permite a los profesionales tomar mejores decisiones respecto al plan terapéutico individualizado; y las personas que utilizan el Sistema de Infusión Continua de Insulina buscan acciones e información en relación con el cuidado diario, para un manejo adecuado de la diabetes. Se destaca la necesidad de futuros estudios de intervención que optimicen el autocuidado en esta población.</jats:p></jats:abstract><publication_date o autocuidado de pessoas com Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 1 em uso do Sistema de Infusão Contínua de Insulina.  Método: trata-se de uma revisão de escopo baseada nos princípios preconizados pelo JBI e nas diretrizes do PRISMA para a extração dos dados, realizada em dez bases de dados e da literatura cinzenta. Utilizou-se a estratégia PCC para a coleta de dados. A seleção dos estudos foi realizada após a remoção de duplicatas, avaliação individual e em pares. Para apresentação dos resultados, utilizou-se análise descritiva e diagrama.  Resultados: uma análise dos 18 artigos selecionados mostrou que existem três comportamentos de autocuidado: manejo glicêmico, bolus de insulina e contagem de carboidratos. Os fatores que influenciam esses comportamentos foram o Conhecimento, Liberdade/flexibilidade, Uso do sensor, Contexto e Responsabilidade.  Conclusão:  os estudos evidenciam que um conhecimento aprofundado sobre o autocuidado permite aos profissionais tomar melhores decisões quanto ao plano terapêutico individualizado; e as pessoas em uso do Sistema de Infusão Contínua de Insulina, buscar ações e informações em relação aos cuidados diários, para o adequado manejo do diabetes. Destaca-se a necessidade de estudos futuros de intervenção que otimizem o autocuidado nessa população.</jats:p></jats:abstract><jats:abstract xml:lang="en"><jats:p> Objective: to map the evidence available in the literature on self-care among people with type 1 diabetes mellitus using continuous insulin infusion systems.  Method:  this is a scoping review based on the principles recommended by the JBI and the PRISMA guidelines for data extraction, conducted using ten databases and gray literature. The PCC strategy was used for data collection. Studies were selected after duplicates were removed and individual and paired assessments were conducted. Descriptive analysis and diagrams were used to present the results.  Results: an analysis of the 18 selected articles showed three self-care behaviors: glycemic management, insulin bolus, and carbohydrate counting. The factors influencing these behaviors were Knowledge, Freedom/flexibility, Sensor use, Context, and Responsibility.  Conclusion:  the studies indicate that in-depth knowledge of self-care enables professionals to make better decisions about individualized treatment plans and enables people using the Continuous Insulin Infusion System to seek actions and information related to daily care for proper diabetes management. There is a need for future intervention studies to optimize self-care in this population.</jats:p></jats:abstract><jats:abstract xml:lang="es"><jats:p> Objetivo: mapear las evidencias disponibles en la literatura sobre el autocuidado de personas con Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 1 que utilizan el Sistema de Infusión Continua de Insulina.  Método: se trata de una revisión de alcance basada en los principios recomendados por el JBI y en las directrices PRISMA para la extracción de datos, realizada a partir de diez bases de datos y da literatura gris. Se utilizó la estrategia PCC para la recopilación de datos. La selección de los estudios se realizó tras la eliminación de duplicados, la evaluación individual y por pares. Se utilizaron análisis descriptivos y diagramas para presentar los resultados.  Resultados: un análisis de los 18 artículos seleccionados mostró que existen tres comportamientos de autocuidado: manejo glucémico, bolo de insulina y recuento de carbohidratos. Los factores que influyen en estos comportamientos fueron el conocimiento, la libertad/flexibilidad, el uso del sensor, el contexto y la responsabilidad.  Conclusión:  los estudios demuestran que un conocimiento profundo sobre el autocuidado permite a los profesionales tomar mejores decisiones respecto al plan terapéutico individualizado; y las personas que utilizan el Sistema de Infusión Continua de Insulina buscan acciones e información en relación con el cuidado diario, para un manejo adecuado de la diabetes. Se destaca la necesidad de futuros estudios de intervención que optimicen el autocuidado en esta población.</jats:p></jats:abstract><publication_date Los factores que influyen en estos comportamientos fueron el conocimiento, la libertad/flexibilidad, el uso del sensor, el contexto y la responsabilidad.  Conclusión:  los estudios demuestran que un conocimiento profundo sobre el autocuidado permite a los profesionales tomar mejores decisiones respecto al plan terapéutico individualizado; y las personas que utilizan el Sistema de Infusión Continua de Insulina buscan acciones e información en relación con el cuidado diario, para un manejo adecuado de la diabetes. Se destaca la necesidad de futuros estudios de intervención que optimicen el autocuidado en esta población.</jats:p></jats:abstract><jats:abstract xml:lang="en"><jats:p> Objective: to map the evidence available in the literature on self-care among people with type 1 diabetes mellitus using continuous insulin infusion systems.  Method:  this is a scoping review based on the principles recommended by the JBI and the PRISMA guidelines for data extraction, conducted using ten databases and gray literature. The PCC strategy was used for data collection. Studies were selected after duplicates were removed and individual and paired assessments were conducted. Descriptive analysis and diagrams were used to present the results.  Results: an analysis of the 18 selected articles showed three self-care behaviors: glycemic management, insulin bolus, and carbohydrate counting. The factors influencing these behaviors were Knowledge, Freedom/flexibility, Sensor use, Context, and Responsibility.  Conclusion:  the studies indicate that in-depth knowledge of self-care enables professionals to make better decisions about individualized treatment plans and enables people using the Continuous Insulin Infusion System to seek actions and information related to daily care for proper diabetes management. There is a need for future intervention studies to optimize self-care in this population.</jats:p></jats:abstract><jats:abstract xml:lang="pt"><jats:p> Objetivo: mapear as evidências disponíveis na literatura sobre o autocuidado de pessoas com Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 1 em uso do Sistema de Infusão Contínua de Insulina.  Método: trata-se de uma revisão de escopo baseada nos princípios preconizados pelo JBI e nas diretrizes do PRISMA para a extração dos dados, realizada em dez bases de dados e da literatura cinzenta. Utilizou-se a estratégia PCC para a coleta de dados. A seleção dos estudos foi realizada após a remoção de duplicatas, avaliação individual e em pares. Para apresentação dos resultados, utilizou-se análise descritiva e diagrama.  Resultados: uma análise dos 18 artigos selecionados mostrou que existem três comportamentos de autocuidado: manejo glicêmico, bolus de insulina e contagem de carboidratos. Os fatores que influenciam esses comportamentos foram o Conhecimento, Liberdade/flexibilidade, Uso do sensor, Contexto e Responsabilidade.  Conclusão:  os estudos evidenciam que um conhecimento aprofundado sobre o autocuidado permite aos profissionais tomar melhores decisões quanto ao plano terapêutico individualizado; e as pessoas em uso do Sistema de Infusão Contínua de Insulina, buscar ações e informações em relação aos cuidados diários, para o adequado manejo do diabetes. Destaca-se a necessidade de estudos futuros de intervenção que otimizem o autocuidado nessa população.</jats:p></jats:abstract><publication_date
